These photos were taken at Elfin Forest in San Marcos, California. They are assortments of different subjects, some are rocks, some are water, and some are of tree bark. I wanted to emphasize the different textures closely to make it more difficult to understand what the subjects are. I used my telephoto lens in order to zoom closer to subjects further away, then cropped in closer in Lightroom to take away any context in the background. I also manipulated the colors and contrast in the photo to stylize them.
