I wanted to explore the different ways in which I could use natural, artificial, and a blend of both lighting to create my images around my home. The first image was taken in the afternoon with plenty of light. The sun was shining through my window, creating lines with the blinds, I shot the photo through my curtain to create a softer texture. The second and third photos are a combination with low natural and artificial lighting. I used an LED light strip and a longer exposure to allow for light painting and a sort of light leak style. The last two photographs are taken with only artificial lighting. The fourth photo was purposefully out of focus as I wanted to capture the Bokeh balls, I used an LED light strip and reflected it onto my washing machine that was turning, then I took a long exposure photograph to show the lights. Finally the last photo was an experiment with light painting. I went into my garage and turned off all the lights, using only an LED strip, I twirled it around and took a 30 second exposure to achieve this result. I took all of these photos on my Canon Rebel T3 with the kit lens and a tripod.
